Since version 4.53.0 you can an Email-address in the booking widget to which a copy of the appointment confirmation for the customer is sent. This can be helpful, for example, when students book an appointment with a company and want to CC their teacher at the same time.
Creating the Booking Question
To create a new Booking Question, go to Settings / Booking Questions and click on the
You need to make the following settings:
- Booking question type: Input field
- Default Regex-Template: Email
- Activate Option Send booking emails to CC
Book appointment
- Choose an available appointment to reach the next step: The booking questions
- Provide a valid Email-address
The email address is validated. If the entry does not correspond to a valid formatting of an Email address as defined by the regex, the validation message of the booking question is displayed.
After the form has been submitted and the booking is completed, the person will receive a copy of the clients appointment confirmation to the email address provided.
Summary for Customers
On the appointment landing page the Email-address is listed as a normal answered booking question.
