Introduction
Background information
Audit logs are log files that are automatically generated to create a chronological record of events and activities within a system. They are essential for security monitoring as they can help to detect unauthorized access, diagnose system errors and meet legal requirements for documentation and reporting.
In Calenso, audit logs include various types of events, such as user logins, changes to appointments, creation of new time slots and more. These logs provide valuable insight into the usage and integrity of the system and allow administrators to quickly identify and respond to suspicious activity.
Audit logs are not only a means of security, but also a tool to improve system administration and user experience. By analyzing the logs, administrators can identify and fix common sources of errors, optimize system processes and improve overall efficiency.
