Data processing agreement (DPA)

Created by Calenso Support, Modified on Fri, 12 Apr at 9:14 AM by Calenso Support

Why do you actually need a DPA? This contract is required by law under the General Data Protection Regulation as soon as a third party processes personal data on your behalf. This is considered order processing. It is therefore necessary to conclude a data processing agreement (DPA). For EU countries, this is called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and for Swiss organisations it is called the Data Protection Act (DPA).
