Add credit card and overview

Welcome to the instructions for managing your credit cards at Calenso. Here you can find out how to add, manage and delete credit cards. A credit card on file is required to use paid subscriptions and online payments. The process includes secure authentication via your credit card provider. If you have any questions or problems, our support team is at your disposal. These instructions will help you to go through all the necessary steps smoothly and manage your payment information securely.

General information

You will find all the credit cards you have added to Calenso under your subscription. You do not need a credit card to use Calenso. However, a credit card is required for the monthly paid subscriptions. The annual subscription can also be purchased by invoice.

If you use online payments, you must provide your credit card.

Adding and deleting a credit card

If you want to add a new credit card, you can click on the round button with the "+" (e.g. if a credit card expires, you only need to replace the card). You will then be guided through a step-by-step guide to securely add your credit card. You enter your credit card details and then go through the Strong Customer Authentication process. The authentication process varies depending on the credit card provider (3D Secure, 3D Secure 2, etc.). Your credit card can then be securely authorized and added. 

After completion, all credit cards are displayed with the authentication type, expiration date and the last 4 digits. Define a default card if you have several cards. You can also delete the credit card via the credit card navigation. If you have a paid subscription, at least one card must be stored. Therefore, the card cannot be deleted if it is the only one.
